Barbara Kosić is a preschool teacher with a master's degree and has been part of the Games.con crew for years. At the kindergarten she dreams up games and workshops, and at the festival she fits together the program, people, booths, tables and chairs – with the occasional "just one more question" email. She believes play has no expiry date, and the festival keeps proving her right.
When Games.con Hub Underground opened, it was left to fend for itself for a while – until the crew decided to dump it on Barbara overnight. She got it up and running with cocktail nights, karaoke and tournaments, and so her calling expanded to raising the big kids too.
She has run creative workshops, summer camps and treasure hunts, so imagination and teamwork are nothing new to her, even with grown-ups. At Games.con you'll find her wherever the Main Stage and Market Square are – walkie-talkie in one hand, phone in the other, and a new item on the list. She loves board games, good stories and creative chaos – though she'd appreciate it if the latter called ahead now and then.
